Please read these terms carefully before using Gen-SEO.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Gen-SEO ("Service", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Current Status: Gen-SEO is currently in Early Bird free access. These terms apply to the current version and will be updated as we introduce new features.

2. User Accounts & Authentication

Auth0 Authentication

Gen-SEO uses Auth0 for secure user authentication and account management. By creating an account, you also agree to Auth0's terms of service and privacy policy.

Account Responsibilities

  • •You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • •You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • •You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
  • •You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • •You may not share your account credentials with others
  • •You must be at least 13 years old to create an account

Note: Your authentication data is managed by Auth0, a trusted third-party authentication service. We do not store your passwords.

3. API Keys & BYOK (Bring Your Own Keys)

Your API Keys

Gen-SEO operates on a Bring Your Own Keys (BYOK) model:

  • •You must provide your own API keys for OpenAI and/or Google Gemini
  • •You are solely responsible for obtaining and managing your API keys
  • •You must comply with OpenAI's and Google's terms of service
  • •You are responsible for all charges incurred through your API usage
  • •We are not liable for any costs associated with your API usage

API Key Security

  • •Your API keys are encrypted and stored securely in our database
  • •We will NEVER use your API keys for our own purposes
  • •We will NEVER share your API keys with third parties
  • •You can revoke or update your keys at any time
  • •Deleting your account permanently removes all stored keys

Important: Keep your API keys secure. Do not share them with anyone. Monitor your API usage and costs directly through OpenAI and Google dashboards.

4. Early Bird Free Access & Pricing

Current Free Access

Gen-SEO is currently in Early Bird free access:

  • •All core features are available for free to Early Bird users
  • •You only pay for your own LLM API usage (directly to OpenAI/Gemini)
  • •No subscription fees or hidden costs during the Early Bird period
  • •We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future
  • •Early Bird users will be notified in advance of any pricing changes

Your Costs

  • •Gen-SEO Service: Currently FREE (Early Bird)
  • •OpenAI API: You pay OpenAI directly based on your usage
  • •Google Gemini API: You pay Google directly based on your usage

We are not responsible for charges from OpenAI or Google. Please monitor your API usage and set appropriate limits in your OpenAI and Google accounts.

Your Content

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GEN-SEO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Gen-SEO in the 12 months prior to the claim (currently $0 during Early Bird free access).
